Tea Connexions
Distributors are invited to attend an Inaugural Launch Conference
in Saskatoon, Canada, from October 14th to 17th, 2004. Plan the next phase of your business growth as a 'Pioneer Partner'
with a tea company that has developed a truly unique proposition.
A year ago Tea Connexions
was a growing young company building a solid distribution base
for gourmet teas across North America. CEO Sanjay Gupta
was gratified that his marketing model was working and popular
with Distributors, but was acutely aware of the legions of other
tea companies around the world. The search was on for a unique
selling point!
At the same time UK-based
Mike Prince was putting the finishing touches to his dream
of celebrating tea through home entertainment complete with
DVDs, print publishing, tea accessories, and food products that
would go hand in hand with tea. Both adults and children would
be catered for through the mother brand of Shangers,
the tea party heroine Princess Teana and the stories
and products that would be promoted through the fantasy world
of Teaopolis.
When Sanjay and Mike met
(June 2003) it soon became clear that this was set to be a 'marriage'
made in Teaopolis. Tea Connexions and Shangers Limited formed
a joined venture company for North American operations, Shangers
Teaopolis Limited, in December 2003.
Now the first batch of Shangers
Teaopolis products are ready to go. Hand-baked Clotted Cream
Shortbread Cookies, Lemon Curd Preserve and English Scone Mix
will soon be followed by other teatime treats. The first Princess
Teana DVD will soon be completed and Princess Teana's
Book of Tea Parties will be published before Christmas.
Shangers Dot Com has just
gone live to coincide with this announcement and is full of
useful information on the Shangers story.
What other tea company can
boast its own Princess and animation series? These and other
branding tools are set to enhance the gourmet tea from Tea Connexions,
which now includes a fine range of tea from China, exquisitely
packaged in eco-friendly cartons.
Distributors now have
the opportunity of flying-the-flag for a brand that will stand
out from the crowd.
By bringing together tea
and home entertainment, Tea Connexions and Shangers
Teaopolis Limited believe they have identified a new category
that is potentially a 'sleeping giant'. We invite you
to help rouse the giant and move forward, as together we build
brand-awareness and a strong business from coast-to-coast.
